Queer eye for the Computer Programmers
I don't know much about Craig Newmark or Jim Buckmaster. But, I do know one thing. Both reside in the great state of California, and California has millions of designers! All types of designers. All types of styles and techniques. Designers from different places of the world. You would think one designer would have finally convinced one of them in updating the very 90's website.

Now, I don’t know for sure if anyone has ever tried to make an attempt to persuade them. I don't know if they have some views that perhaps keep it as is. But I think at least they should cleaned it up some.

Below is my 1st attempt at elevating the craigslist site and brand. The design is based on minimal effort. Not a lot of change in the U.I. but perhaps aiding the U.X. perhaps.
